Dr. Muzykewicz

Dr. David Muzykewicz was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended and graduated college at Harvard University and medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Thereafter, he moved west and completed a six-year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of California San Diego, which included a year of dedicated research. He then completed his Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Brown University Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship in Providence, Rhode Island. Over this time, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the orthopaedic and hand surgery literature.

Dr. Muzykewicz has a keen interest in surgery of the hand and wrist, treating a wide array of pathologies across all age groups, including compressive neuropathies, tendinopathies, fractures, and arthritis. He is comfortable with open, arthroscopic, and microscopic surgical techniques as indicated on a case-by-case patient-centered basis. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, has a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand, and is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Muzykewicz is married with three young daughters. He enjoys sports, running, travel, and spending his free time with his family.
